Morbid Illustrations of a North Korean Concentration Camp
North Korea’s Kim dynasty is a three-generation lineage of leadership descending from the country’s first leader, Kim Il-sung, in 1948.
Because of the hard labor and conditions, the majority of prisoners die of starvation, illnesses, over-work, or torture.
An escapee from North Korea who spent six years in one of the camps shared his chilling illustrations of conditions in prison with the UN Human Rights organization. We have the technology to see where these atrocities take place and we don't have the ability to stop it. China backs North, South Koreans fear the cost of unification and really don't want to invade North.
